This is arguably one of my favorite photos to this day. Everything from the texture and movement of the water, to the blue of the sky and how its partially reflected in the fountain, all come together to form this wonderful composition.

This picture was actually taken before the one above. The reason why it’s here instead of further up is because it was determined by those who were helping me organize this page that this composition wasn’t as strong as the first, but it was still part of the top 3.
“The Three Flags”

To the right of where the previous photo was taken were these three flags on their respective poles. There was something serene of a silent courtyard with only the flapping of the flags to greet you that I wanted to capture in this shot.

From the fifth floor of the McCoy College of Business, which I had 24/7 access to due to be being one of their student workers, I noticed that there were some fantastic views. What caught my eye here was that the reds of the apartment complex down the road popped, especially when compared to the other colors. I whipped out my camera and snapped this photo.

On the opposite side of McCoy was this glorious courtyard/slew of walkways with a ton of greenery. Out of everything, this shot makes me miss Texas State Univeristy’s exteriors.
