You’re probably wondering, “Who is Kallias Dornan?”

Well, for starters, I’m a recent grad program graduate. That’s a little too generic, so let’s get more specific. I started college at Brazosport College, then transferred to Texas State University after three years (I was in high school for two of the three years I was at BC), then I transferred to the Savannah College of Art and Design, and then I finally finished my undergrad career when I graduated from the University of Houston with a Bachelors of Arts in Media Production(#1) with a minor in Religious Studies(#2). Afterwards, I attended Liberty University(#3) to get my Master’s of Communications in Digital Content (effectively a marketing degree).

My passion is making narrative films and video essays, but I also dabble in photography!

My first real jump into photography was when I was attending Texas State University. After exploring the campus a few quiet Saturdays, I decided to take my camera along with me to capture wonderful exterior shots.

My time spent making videos is actually much longer than my time with photography. I started off making, rather poorly done, stop-motion video using Legos many, many years ago, and I have since evolved into making films, gaming videos, and video essays! I used to be active over on YouTube, but have recently left the platform and instead have moved fully to only posting on my own website.

Footnotes:

#1 – I tailored my undergrad program to have a focus on film production.

#2 – This was the easiest minor to get in one semester. While I’m a pagan, I don’t consider myself to be that religious.

#3 – Yes, unfortunately, that is the very school you’re wondering about. I was pulled in by its super cheap grad program (considering it was fully online, so I didn’t need to worry about housing or gas), and I never stopped to think about what its ties were to…
